Cleanse Continually with a Healthy Colon Cleansing Diet
There is no great secret as to how to clean the colon. There is no mysterious wonder elixir needed to initiate the process.
Don’t be confused by all the products on the market that are designed to cleanse the colon. We are not saying that these products do not work. However, the best way to keep your body void of toxins is to follow a good colon cleansing diet.
Think about the foods that you know are healthy for you. Fruits and vegetables pop to mind immediately. People eat these items to combat a long list of health ailments. Hopefully, you are already consuming large amounts of foods from both categories.
One reason fruits have traditionally been considered a natural cleaner is that they are easily digested by the body.
Juices, both fruit and vegetable, are good because there is no fiber or pulp and thus the vitamins and minerals are quickly and more easily absorbed by the body. Over time, these juices are purported to strengthen the body and allow it to naturally and regularly cleanse itself, rather than relying on a special quick fix.
When using juices for this purpose, they must be fresh. Canned and bottled products will not do the job because they are minus the potent enzymes that are essential to the process. In general, vegetable juices are thought to be better for conditioning the digestive tract while fruit juices are better for voiding unwanted toxins.
Raw vegetables, grains and seeds are also effective in cleaning the digestive system. Grains will actually slow the cleansing process, but if you maintain a healthy diet consisting of large amounts of fruits, vegetables and grains then this shouldn’t be a concern.
Cleansing shouldn’t be something you do once or twice a year. The best remedy is a healthy diet that promotes continual cleaning.
