Simple Home Made Drinks to Relieve Constipation
We all know that it is not easy to eat healthy meals that don’t contribute to constipation every single day. Changing bad eating habits creates a big challenge for many of us.
Depending on how desperate we are to relieve this condition, we may turn things around and start eating healthy meals and drinking healthy drinks right away. Unfortunately, not many of us are in a position to eat a healthy meal every time we sit down at the table. The good news is that even with a less than perfect diet you can eliminate hard to pass stools and get overnight relief.
An excellent step to maintaining regularity is eating all your green vegetables with every meal, and not eating those foods that contribute to constipation, such as white bread and rice. The video on the left will give you a quick tip on how to make a green drink. While you strive to maintain a healthy and balanced diet to resolve your constipation challenges for good, here are some easy ways to improve your diet and get you headed in the right direction.
These are some of the healthy drinks that you can incorporate in your diet to avoid being constipated:
1. Take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar every morning with a glass of water.
2. Drink warm water mixed with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and juice from half a lemon every morning before eating.
3. Drink a mix of 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds, honey, and water. You can have it any time; however, you may find it easier to drink at snack time.
4. Blend about 2 avocados with water, lemon juice and olive oil; and then salt to taste and drink. This is a fast acting remedy, be prepared to go to the bathroom.
If for some reason you are not able to find any of these ingredients, you can just drink warm water with lemon 3 to 4 times a day.
Also, after meals take a few minutes to be active. You may do some work around the house, such as the laundry or you may spend time in the garden. Regular exercise helps to relax your body and ease constipation.
Every person’s body reacts differently to treatments; therefore, find out which foods and drinks actually work better in your system.
